Before the application is considered complete, we will need to receive all of the applicable documents requested. If you are unable to upload the documents using the Online Application Form, send the documents to us by email.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Eligibility Checklist<\/span><\/h3>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">You will need to document the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>CURRENT CERTIFICATION OR LICENSE<\/b><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Must hold current healthcare professional license or certification from a State-approved or recognized, or nationally-recognized, licensing or certification agency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>EDUCATION: 30-HOURS of ONLINE CLINICAL SUPERVISOR CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES<\/b><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\">Complete any two of the online Clinical Supervisor<span class=\"s1\"> Continuing Education Course Bundles (for a total of 30 hours) from Breining Institute<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"s1\">Based upon <b><i>The Clinical Supervisor<\/i><\/b>,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">the acclaimed training handbook\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">written by some of the foremost authorities from throughout <\/span><span class=\"s1\">the United States, the Clinical Supervisor Counselor Continuing Education Courses may be completed entirely on-line<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\" style=\"color: #008000;\"><b>EXPERIENCE<\/b><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Three years full time or 6,000 hours clinical experience in general alcohol and other drug \/ substance use disorders (AOD\/SUD) counseling; and,<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">One year full time (or 2,000 hours) as an AOD\/SUD supervisor.<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">PLEASE NOTE: Your hours as an AOD\/SUD supervisor may be included in your general AOD\/SUD experience.<\/span><\/li>\n<li>Have a qualified employer representative complete and submit the online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breining.edu\/index.php\/1702241604-2\/clinical-experience-form\/\">Clinical Experience Verification Form<\/a> in order to submit the information directly to Breining Institute<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Acceptable Substitutes for Experience Requirement<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">The minimum clinical and\/or supervisor experience required is 2,000 hours (or 1 year)<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">Acceptable substitutes for up to 4,000 hours of experience may include a degree. <\/span><span class=\"s1\">A degree in addiction studies or the healing arts may substitute as follows:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">AA or AS degree may substitute for 2,000 hours of clinical experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s1\">BA or BS, MA or MS, or Doctorate degree may substitute for 4,000 hours of clinical experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>Renewal Requirement<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\"><span class=\"s1\">Every two years<\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\"><span class=\"s1\">Continuing Education (CE) requirement every two years is 30 hours<br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Verify Credential<\/strong><br \/>\nTo verify whether someone has been awarded the CSC Credential from Breining Institute, select the following link to the International Certified \/ Credentialed Counselors (CCCo) database: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccco.us.com\/wordpress1\/credential-verification\/\">International CCCo Verification<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Registered Service Marks<\/strong><br \/>\nThese credentials are registered service marks of Breining Institute, and may only be used by professionals who have been awarded these credentials by Breining Institute:<br \/>\n\u201cClinical Supervisor Credential\u201d and \u201cCSC\u201d credentials: Service Mark Reg.
