ROBBIE T. GEYSER, a Rehabilitation Therapist for the California
Department of Corrections at Mule Creek State Prison (Ione), is a faculty instructor and
mentor. Ms. Geyser also serves on the Employee Post Trauma Team and as an HIV/AIDS
Counselor for inmates as Mule Creek. She has also served as an Orals Commissioner for Case
Presentation Method Reviews, California Certification Board of Alcohol and Drug
Counselors. Ms. Geyser holds a Certificate as an Instructor in Rehabilitation Counseling,
Alcohol/Drug Abuse Specialty, from the Council for Private Postsecondary and Vocation
Education, and has served as a counselor and/or educator at Breining Institute, Mexican
American Alcoholism Program, The Effort-Alternative House and Charter Hospital. With a
Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Administration (emphasis in Therapeutic
Recreation), she has also earned national and state recognition as a Certified Therapeutic
Recreation Specialist (CTRS, RTC). Ms. Geyser earned her Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor
Training certificate from Breining Institute in 1990. |
