STEVEN
C. VanGELDER, Dr.AD, is an adjunct faculty professor and
Mentor. Dr. VanGelder is currently engaged in private practice in
Virginia Beach, Virginia, and has served as a therapist, program
supervisor and case management director for facilities in Virginia
and Pennsylvania since 1979. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor
and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist by the Virginia
Department of Health Professions, and has been designated a
Certified Addictions Counselor by the Substance Abuse Certification
Alliance of Virginia. Dr. VanGelder's published work includes INTERNET
ADDICTION: Is the Internet a “pathological agent”
includable as a disorder separate from other psychiatric diagnoses?
