KATHY LEIGH WILLIS, Program Director/Clinical Director for the
Campobello Chemical Dependency Treatment Programs, is a faculty instructor and mentor. Ms.
Willis has also served as Acting Executive Director for the California Association of
Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (CAADAC), as Director of the Information Center for
the National Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Addictions (San Francisco), Director of
Parkside Outpatient/Inpatient Detox (San Ramon, CA), Director of the Humana Hospital Help
Unit in San Leandro (CA), as a counselor and coordinator for New Beginnings - Doctors
Hospital of Pinole (CA), and as a Coordinator for the First Offender Drinking Driver
Program at the National Council on Alcoholism in San Francisco. In 1993 she received the
"Counselor Hall of Fame" award from CAADAC, and has also been elected President
of CAADAC (1992), served as a Member of the NAADAC National Executive Board (1990-94),
served as the National Chair of the Committee on Women for NAADAC (1990), and served on
the San Francisco Task Force on Disabilities and Substance Abuse (1990 and 1991). Ms.
Willis has received training as an Orals Commissioner, Trainer and State Supervisor by the
International Certification Reciprocity Consortium (ICRC, formerly the National
Certification Reciprocity Consortium, NCRC), and holds professional counseling
designations as a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC), as a Certified Employee
Assistant Professional (CEAP), and as an NCAC II from NAADAC. Ms. Willis earned her
Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from John F. Kennedy University in Orinda,
California. |
