JAY-TODD
J. SCHUDER,
is an adjunct Faculty Professor and Mentor. Mr. Schuder is a
Correctional Counselor in the Addiction Services Unit of the
Hartford (Connecticut) Correctional Center, and has provided
services as a Substance Abuse Counselor in Connecticut since 1995.
Before devoting his clinical energies to the drug and alcohol
treatment profession, Mr. Schuder worked in the mental health /
caseload management field for five years. He is licensed by the State of Connecticut as a Professional
Counselor, as well as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and earned the
Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor designation from the
Connecticut Certification Board. Mr. Schuder's work has been published
in the Journal of Addictive Disorders (2003), with his
article "Chemical
Dependency, Anger Management and Depression: A Triumvirate
Approach," and is a candidate for the Doctor of Addictive
Disorders (Dr.AD) degree from Breining Institute.
